ant is a private assistant that one person, its owner, runs on his own computer for himself. This page says what
it does with the data it can reach. It has no other users.
What ant reads
The mail in the owner's own accounts, which he connected himself. For Gmail it asks Google for one permission,
reading and changing his mail (gmail.modify), and nothing else: not his contacts, his files or his
calendar.
What ant does with it
It sorts his mail, shows him what needs him, and answers his questions about it.
It changes something in his mailbox (marking a message read or unread, archiving it or putting it back, sending a
reply he has read whole, or asking a sender to stop sending) only after he taps to approve that one change.
To answer him, it sends the text it needs to the AI model provider his own account uses. That provider does not
use it to train models.
What ant never does
It does not sell, share or show the owner's data to anyone else, and it shows no advertising.
It does not use the data for anything but helping the owner.
Nobody else reads his mail through it.
Where it is kept
On the owner's own computer and in his own backups. He can remove ant's access at any time in his Google account,
and delete everything ant has kept.
Google user data
ant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
